About Me.
Fabiana is a Venezuela-American multimedia communications professional and writer based in Houston, Texas. She has worked with renowned media organizations such as CNN, Netflix, The Texas Tribune, ABC 13, and NPR's Next Generation Radio. With experience in TV, radio and digital journalism & brand communications, Fabiana has produced short-form documentaries and reported on breaking news events including former U.S. President Trump's indictment in Georgia, the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Hurricane Beryl in 2024, and other beats such as crime & justice, climate, public health, art & culture, and U.S. politics. What fuels her? A passion for narrative storytelling that gives people a chance to tell their own stories, an avenue to amplify and uplift the work of their communities, and a space for people to understand one another better. When not at work, you can find her capturing video and photos of the city she calls home, steadily visiting places that catch her eye, and spending her evenings reading and writing. |
